I create a safe space where people have fun as they grow more wholly (holy) into themselves.
For the past 20+ years it has been my pleasure to serve as a guide for many people who have wanted to open to their creative energy through a variety of artistic media. One of the most satisfying artforms for many people is simple collage-making: gathering pictures and assembling them on a background. Collage is one of the most accessible ways to create visually without prior art training, or even with a bio full of art credits. Sharing any kind of creative process with others is a powerful experience. I offer the following opportunities for creative connection:
Collage for your Life—Invitation to Self-Discovery
Six-week Series:
Every week for six weeks you will create a collage that is expressive of yourself. Sue will provide different themes each week as creative starting points to guide the content and focus of your collages. You will be free to use those themes or not, depending on your process or your personal preference. Some themes might incorporate musical selections, a Native American teaching, or a poem by Rumi. Sue will spend time at the end of each week reflecting with you on your collage-making experience.

Create a Container for Transformation
Three-session Series:
Webster's dictionary defines container as "the capacity to hold." To contain "signifies an enclosing within." Either of these ideas could describe your participation as you create a container to represent some valued area of your personal growth, especially some part of you that you wish to nourish as it moves through transformation. Since the process of change can feel intangible at times, it can be rewarding to do something more concrete that feels like you're contributing positively to this transition time. It's also a great way to activate your energy and intentions, and the container can serve as a visual presence and reminder of this life priority that you want to hold in the forefront of your awareness.
Initially, you will select a bowl, a box, or a container made of any material that you would not mind gluing things onto: special objects, visual images, or quotes and words. Your container could have a lid, or be open, depending on the feeling that best suits your intention. I will accompany you with conversations at the beginning, middle, and end of your creative process, and with lots of encouragement. You will supply all of the active ingredients that will creatively ignite a mystical, magical transformation process!

Creative Companioning
Sue is available for individual consultations to actively listen, and to accompany you as you move through the changes of your life. This companioning might include Sue's guidance as you spend time creating with the art materials of your choice, or just being with whatever seems to fit at the time. With this careful attention you will begin to fan your creative spark into a flame. Sue will assist by holding space in which you will be encouraged to stay in the present moment.
